Dr. Theresa Manrique is a general dentist, proud U.S. Army veteran, and passionate advocate for helping families build healthy smiles. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, and has the privilege of caring for patients throughout Florida.
As a former Army Dental Corps officer, Dr. Manrique developed a deep appreciation for compassion, service, and teamwork, values that continue to guide her every day. She believes that one of the best ways to create healthy smiles is by helping children develop positive dental habits early in life.
Inspired by her love of dentistry and patient education, Dr. Manrique created Albert’s adventures to make learning about oral health fun, engaging, and easy to understand. Through storytelling, she hopes to give children confidence, encourage healthy habits, and provide parents with a helpful resource for teaching the importance of caring for their teeth.
When she’s not treating patients or writing, Dr. Manrique enjoys creating new educational resources that inspire children to smile with confidence and make every trip to the dentist a positive experience.
Her greatest hope is that every child who joins Albert on his adventures discovers that caring for their smile can be one of life’s greatest adventures, and that every page inspires healthy habits, confidence, and a lifetime of happy, healthy smiles.
